Q: What are my Annual Tent Camping Pass payment options?
A: The annual fee of $249 is payable in full at the time of purchase. While there is no additional enrollment fee when buying a single zone Annual Tent Camping Pass, if you do purchase more than one Zone, there is an additional one-time enrollment fee due at the time of purchase. Details will be provided at check out.
Q: How long is the term of the Annual Tent Camping Pass?
A: The initial term of an Annual Tent Camping Pass is one (1) year. At the end of the initial term, your Pass will automatically renew for additional one-year periods unless you notify us in writing of your desire to terminate your Pass at least 30 days prior to the end of the initial term or renewal term, as the case may be, or (ii) we notify you in writing of our intention to terminate your Pass at least 30 days prior to the end of the initial term or renewal term, as the case may be.
Q: What are my use privileges?
A: Your Annual Tent Camping Pass entitles you to unlimited overnight camping in your own tent, subject to length of stay restrictions, at all campgrounds in the zone(s) you purchase. During your stay you can enjoy all the amenities that Thousand Trails and Encore offer. Only two tents and two vehicles are allowed per site. You may not bring RVs, campers or tent trailers. No day use is allowed.
Q: How long can I stay at a resort?
A: While there is not a limit to the total number of nights that you may use your Annual Tent Camping Pass each year, you may only stay at one campground a maximum of seven consecutive nights. Additionally, if your stay exceeds four consecutive nights, you must wait for seven nights before you stay again at any campground. After your first 30 days of camping each year, a modest daily usage fee of $3 will be charged, to defray the costs of our amenities.
Q: Can I make reservations?
A: You may make reservations to use the campground 60 days in advance of your intended date of arrival. Tent sites are booked on a first come, first served basis.
Q: What amenities are available to an Annual Tent Camping Pass holder?
A: Annual Tent Camping Pass holders are eligible to use dedicated tent camping sites and the other amenities and activities available at the campground. Individual tent sites vary by campground and range from water/electric sites to primitive/dry camping sites. Use of sites is based on availability.
Q: Who may use my Annual Tent Camping Pass?
A: Your Annual Tent Camping Pass covers the purchaser, his/her spouse, and any dependent children age 23 and under who live at home or attend school away from home. Other family members may use the campgrounds as guests as set forth in the Usage Rules. Our spacious campsites can accommodate up to six persons, so don't forget to bring your friends along!
Q: Is my Annual Tent Camping Pass transferable?
A: No, once purchased, an Annual Tent Camping Pass can only be used by the named purchaser and those family members listed above.
Q: What if I purchase the Northwest Zone but want to visit a different Zone?
A: You can upgrade your Annual Tent Camping Pass to include additional zones at any time by calling the Thousand Trails call center at 1-877-522-1834. There will be a one-time enrollment fee to add an additional zone(s).
Q: Does the Annual Tent Camping Pass come with a money back guarantee?
A: Yes. If you purchase an Annual Tent Camping Pass through our website or call center, you may cancel the Pass for any reason by sending us a written notice of cancellation within the first 30 days after you sign the purchase agreement, provided that you do not stay at more than one campground and that your first stay does not exceed two nights. You must send your notice of cancellation to MHC Thousand Trails Limited Partnership, 6500 Pinecrest Dr., Suite 300, Plano, Texas 75024, Attention: Contract Processing, and the notice must be postmarked by midnight of the 30th day after the day on which you signed your purchase agreement. Mailing by ordinary mail is adequate but certified mail return receipt requested is recommended. If you cancel your Tent Camping Pass as provided herein you will receive a refund of your annual fee and, if applicable, enrollment fee. This guarantee does not apply to an upgrade after your initial purchase.
Q: What do I have to do to get $50 off my Tent Camping Pass?
A: Purchase a Tent Camping Pass between now and April 18, 2014 to receive a $50 discount off the regular $249 annual fee. This is a limited one-time offer which expires on April 18, 2013.
